In 2001, Infinity Outdoor was renamed to Viacom Outdoor as a result of the merger of Infinity Outdoor and TDI.

CBS Outdoor

2006–2014

On December 31, 2005, Viacom split from CBS Corporation, with the latter keeping Viacom Outdoor. Viacom Outdoor's US operations were immediately renamed to CBS Outdoor, with Canada and the rest of the world following on October 12, 2006.

In 2014, CBS Outdoor International (CBS Outdoor's assets outside of the Americas) was sold to Platinum Equity, and was renamed to Exterion Media.

CBS Outdoor Americas Inc. was spun-off as an independent public company from CBS Corporation in 2014. On November 20, 2014, CBS Outdoor was renamed to Outfront Media.
