Paramount Play was initially launched in Poland in mid-October 2018 as a video-on-demand subscription service on the Play Now and TOYA platforms[1][2], and later became available through ipla, Orange TV and nc+ GO. It quietly ceased operations in Q1 2023, replaced by SkyShowtime.

On June 1, 2021, ViacomCBS Networks International launched Paramount Play on Russian streaming service ivi as a content hub, featuring an extensive library of Paramount Pictures, MTV and Nickelodeon titles[3].

After Paramount suspended its operations in Russia in April 2022[4], new releases from studio were no longer added to the platform, but some previously licensed content remained available until 2025.
