The 1992–2004 Cartoon Network logo as a production logo was first used on The Moxy Pirate Show!, premiered in December 5, 1993. This logo has many on-screen logo variants throughout its 25-year usage, most notably the Cartoon Cartoons "Ripple" endtag which was used on episodes of Cartoon Network shows, pilots, and films that were produced and originally aired from November 26, 1999 to November 3, 2017 and on credits error of Steven Universe finale episode on January 21, 2019. That said endtag was first used on The Powerpuff Girls episode "A Very Special Blossom/Daylight Savings" and was last used on Ben 10 2016 reboot episode "Need for Speed". The last Cartoon Network movie to use the 1999–2016 Ripple endtag or in general, Cartoon Network Productions logo, however, is Regular Show: The Movie, released in August 14, 2015.

The logo with the word "Productions" above the 1992–2004 Cartoon Network logo was used on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet.

Trivia

This is the only logo that has the word "Productions". The rest of the logos from other shows, however, simply use Cartoon Network's 1992–2004, 2004–2010, and 2010–present logos and the 2010 version of the Checkerboard logo as the network's 1993–2019, 2004–2011, 2010–present, and 2012–2013; 2016–2021 production logo, respectively, as well as simply using the Cartoon Network name instead of the Cartoon Network Productions name.

The skull with the 1992–2004 Cartoon Network logo as its teeth was used on Adult Swim shows that were produced from 2001 to 2012. A variation of this logo has since been used on Adult Swim's Checkered Past block in 2023.

The 2010 version of the Cartoon Network checkerboard logo as a production logo was first used on the 2012–2013 Indian animated film Sons of Ram, released on November 2, 2012. Two years later after Sons of Ram was screened at the Toronto Animation Arts festival (TAAFI) in 2013, it was first used on Welcome to My Life short in June 18, 2015 before being aired on TV in November 10, 2016 starting with Regular Show episode "The Key to the Universe".

Since April 2019, the 2015 Exploding Blocks endtag is no longer used on episodes of Cartoon Network original series, pilots, and films that were produced, released, and distributed in the United States. As a result, only the Cartoon Network Studios logo is shown after the credits of a show or movie thus they simply end with the said logo. After the airing of Elliott from Earth's 16th episode on April 9, 2021 where the 2015 Exploding Blocks endtag and overall the 2010 version of the Cartoon Network checkerboard logo as a production logo is last used, the 2010 Cartoon Network logo as a production logo that was first used on September 6, 2010 is now only used since April 9, 2021.

The 2004–2010 Cartoon Network logo as a production logo was first used on Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and last used on Skatoony. It is mostly used on shows produced or distributed outside the United States, with a few on shows distributed within the US.

The 2010 Cartoon Network logo as a production logo was first used at the end credits of Mad. Like with the previous 2004–2013 logo, it is mostly used on shows produced or distributed outside the United States, with a few on shows distributed within the US. This logo started to be used as the network's production logo on the same date as the debut of the 2010–2015 Cartoon Network Studios logo (September 6, 2010). The logo is also used in international airings of We Baby Bears.
