Avante was launched on December 8, 1999 in the Netherlands. It was extended to Romania and Bulgaria on May 4, 2000, [1] followed by Hungary in October 2000. [2] It was launched in Poland in April 2001. [3]
2002–2003

Avante was rebranded in March 2002. On May 31, 2003, Avante ceased broadcasting.[4]
