On October 17, 2024, due to the impending loss of Warner Bros. Discovery lifestyle and factual networks to Rogers Sports & Media, Bell Media announced that Discovery Velocity would be rebranded as CTV Speed Channel on January 1, 2025, as part a rebranding of three of the company's speciality channels under the CTV brand.
