Bing Chat — logos

2023–2024

On February 7, 2023, Microsoft launched Bing Chat, an AI chatbot inside of Bing.

On September 21, 2023, Bing Chat was merged into Microsoft Copilot, with Copilot now powering the Bing Chat section of the site. During this time, all existing Microsoft apps that had the Bing Chat integration, such as Microsoft Edge, later changed to Copilot. In 2024, Copilot replaced Bing Chat on the Bing website and it was rebranded to Microsoft Copilot in Bing, as well as on Skype's official AI chatbot account.
