Microsoft Mail was replaced by Microsoft Exchange Client in 1995.
Microsoft Exchange Client
Microsoft Exchange Client was an e-mail program derived from the creation of Microsoft Exchange Server in 1995.
1995–1996
Microsoft Exchange Client 4.0, 5.0
Used exclusively in Windows 95.
With the release of Exchange Server 5.5, Exchange Client was replaced by Outlook.
Windows Messaging
Windows Messaging is an Exchange Client version with less features included in posterior versions of Windows 95.
1996–1997
Windows Messaging 4.0
Used in Windows 95 OSR2 and Windows NT 4.0.
Windows Messaging was replaced by Outlook Express in 1997.
