In 2004, Bravo HD+ changed their name to Universal HD.

2008–2017

Universal HD was rebranded in 2008 by S4 Studios. The new graphics for the channel contains three elements: metallic tubes, copper balls and an infinite plane. [1] The channel ceased operations on 15 July 2017 and was replaced by Olympic Channel.

2017–2022

On March 2017, NBCUniversal announced plans to launch a local version of the Olympic Channel in the United States in partnership with the IOC and the United States Olympic Committee which launched on 15 July of that year, replacing Universal HD. The channel later shut down on 30 September 2022.
