After UTV Motion Pictures Discontinued in 14 July 2017, several UTV-branded channels were still active, including UTV Action, UTV Movies, and the youth channel Bindass (formerly UTV Bindass). However, changes and closures did affect some parts of UTV's operations that year until 2023.

UTV shutdown on March 15, 2023 and was replaced with the HD feed of Star Gold 2, similar to the shutdowns of its sister channels.
