Foxnet was an American cable-only channel launched on June 6, 1991 by Fox, which operated as national feed in markets of United States without local FOX affiliate and shut down on September 12, 2006 after becoming not financially viable due to FOX being available in 98.97% of U.S. households and only having 13,000 cable subscribers nationwide.
In 2017, the Foxnet-like feed was revived on Hulu in markets where local affiliates had not come to terms with Hulu to provide access to their station feeds and sporadically broadcasted over-the-air and on YouTube TV as emergency backup service in markets where local affiliates got taken off the air.
