Sonic Crackers

1994 (early build)

Sonic Crackers Title Screen

Sonic Crackers was a very early Mega Drive/Genesis prototype of Knuckles' Chaotix, dated on April 1, 1994 with title screen logo displayed as ASCII-art. The build's ROM header also referred to it as "Sonic Studium". It is believed that the title is misromanization of "Sonic Clackers", referring to the game's main mechanic based on "Clackers" toy.

While Sega mainly used this logo in Japan, it was also seen in European video game magazines and on Mega Drive 32X bundle packages sold around summer 1995.[3][4]
