On December 5, 2019, at 4:00 pm (PHT), Lite FM 105.9 rebranded as Neo Retro 105.9 and brought back its classic hits format. Milo "The Triggerman" Cavarlez serves as the station manager. Official broadcast began on January 1, 2020.

On October 28, 2024, Nation Broadcasting Corporation announced that it will take over the operations of DWLA 105.9 FM and rebrand the station as 105.9 True FM (under an airtime lease agreement with the station's owner, Bright Star Broadcasting Network) on November 4 after moving from its former home, DWFM 92.3 FM. This follows a pending acquisition of 92.3 FM by Philippine Collective Media Corporation to become Favorite Music Radio's flagship Mega Manila station. 105.9 FM served as a flagship station of the newly-rebranded True FM.
