Launched:  October 10, 2022

On October 10, 2022, VTV Cần Thơ, a regional channel aimed at Mekong Delta Region audiences, was relaunched as a national channel to take the place of what was VTV6, due to the Youth Department no longer being a part of the system of departments and divisions of Vietnam Television as of Decree No. 60/2022/ND-CP. The testing period lasted three days until it was officially launched on 13 October 2022, becoming the first VTV-owned channel (and region) to be revived after VTV Cần Thơ 1 closed in 2016. VTV6 would later relaunch in 2026.

Still, VTV Cần Thơ would still follow in its predecessor's footsteps by airing sports coverage, the first notable was simulcasting matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup held 1 month after the channel's launch, in which the channel had to temporarily raised airtime from 18 hours to 24 hours a day to accommodate this. The 24/7 schedule was made permanent on 15 July 2025.
