VCTV10 began broadcasting on August 8, 2008, as O2TV (channel for health and life). O2TV is a joint-ventrue between VCTV, Ministry of Health and S Media.

On September 29, 2019, health programmes switched from VTVCab 10 to VTVCab 7; while Vie Dramas, which was broadcasting on VTVCab 7, switched to VTVCab 10.
