1974–2002
In 1974, the "double diamond" assumed its most recognisable form, with the inner diamond becoming outlined like the outer one.
1980–1996
This version of the logo would be used concurrently with the 1990 logo until 1996.
1990–2002
This version of the logo would be used concurrently with the 2000 logo until 2002.
2000–2012
The Umbro logo was given an overhaul coinciding with the new millennium. The font for the lettering was modified and spaced apart more, and the double diamond was made wider, with rounded edges.
In February 2008, Nike completed its acquisition of Umbro, having announced its intent to do so on October 23, 2007.
2008–present
After being acquired by Nike, the Umbro symbol was made less wide again, whilst maintaining the rounded edges of the 2000 logo.
2013–present
This logo is still used on the Umbro website and some clothing, despite the introduction of the next logo (seen below).
2024–present
On January 17, 2024, Umbro changed its logo to celebrate its centenary. The design is a throwback of the alternative 1960 logo.
