From the mid–1970s until 1998, Oreo cookies in Canada had different primary logos from the United States. Starting in 1999, they began using 1995–2001 logo, and have been using the same logo as the United States since then.

Following Nabisco's acquisition by Kraft Foods, the Oreo logo was jazzed up in 2001. This logo is currently used worldwide since 2002.

This logo was introduced coinciding with the introduction of a recipe reformulation in those countries.
