The "Mac" Mattel mascot was renamed Matty Mattel; the seal, or "sun" used in this logo has been used by the company's logo since. This logo was reused in 2024 for the Hot WheelsMattel CreationsThe Transformers Optimus Prime toy.

In 1969, the seal was changed to the now-familiar red color. Despite being redesigned in 2019, this logo is still used on certain products and still appears in most store signage.
