Modalfa
1995–2006
In 1995, Sonae created its first clothing store and named it Modalfa. This store was present in some shopping malls, Continente supermarkets and Modelo supermarkets.
The second logo was only used on store facades. Unlike Worten, the facade didn’t indicate if it was a Megastore or a Superstore.
2006–2013
In 2006, Modalfa did a rebrand on its logo, which was used up until 2013. However, this logo is still used on some clothing.
MO
2013–present
In 2013, Modalfa changed its logo and name. This time it was simplified by MO. This name was chosen because Sonae described MO as “a taking on the brand as practical, close, fun, authentic and curious, inspired by today's woman and her family”.
