Zing is a youth entertainment channel in India owned by the Zee network, similar to MTV, Bindass and the erstwhile Channel V. It was launched in 1997 as Music Asia, then rebranded to Zee Muzic in 2000, and adopted its current name in 2009. Besides youth programming, it also shows music shows, like its sister channel Zee ETC Bollywood, which shut down on 17 October 2020. A similar comparison can be drawn between Viacom18’s MTV and MTV Beats.
Until May 2022, it was Zee’s only channel which continued to use the old Zee logo from 2011, despite the mega-rebrand of the Zee network in October 2017.

The gap in the top right corner of the Z was closed, and the swoosh within it was modified. This was also done by all other Zee channels and properties.
Even after the rest of the Zee network rebranded on 15 October 2017 with a new logo scheme, Zing’s logo remained unchanged, and it continued to use Zee’s 2011–17 logo until 25 May 2022.
2022–2025
Zing introduced a new logo and graphics package on 25 May 2022, its first rebrand in many years. Simultaneously, it moved its on-screen logo from the top right corner (used by most Indian TV channels, as well as Zee TV) to the top left corner, which is used by almost all non-news channels of the Zee network except Zee TV and a few others.
