Until 1975 a logo was used which incorporated items from the town's coat of arms.

Wrexham FC
2006–2012
In 2006 the club's official name changed from Wrexham Association Football Club to Wrexham Football Club. During this time, the badge was tweaked.
2012–2014
In 2012 evidence emerged that the original 1873 foundation date was incorrect.[1] The logo was edited to include the new information, first to 1872 for a short period, followed by the 1864 year used presently.

Wrexham AFC (second era)
2015–present
In 2013 the owning supporters trust agreed to change the name back to "Wrexham AFC", which took effect from the 2015-16 season.
