Watch Utility

These icons were used in mid-development builds of iOS 8 when the application was first introduced, likely to protect confidentiality of the Apple Watch's real shape, or interdepartment noncommunication.

It is unknown why the logo changed a bit, but on an iOS 8 build made for a prototype iPhone 6, there were minor changes such as a more neon band, and a lighter font used on the time.

In iOS 12.1.1, the icon changed to reflect the Apple Watch Series 4. Strangely, the icon was reverted in iOS 13. The 12.1.1 icon was brought back once more in iOS 13.3.
