In 2014, Samsung unveiled its first Tizen-based smartwatch called Samsung Gear 2, with a software update for existing Galaxy Gear users (based on Tizen) was also released. Later in 2015, they unveiled its first Tizen-based smartphone called Samsung Z1 and the Tizen OS is also used on Smart TVs, replacing its old Smart TV platform called Orsay OS.
After Samsung stopped using Tizen OS on its smartphones in 2017 and on smartwatches in 2021, Tizen continues to be used in its smart TVs, smart monitors, commercial displays and Family Hub smart fridges.
After the introduction of the new Tizen OS logo, this logo is still present on its mobile website of its Tizen OS open-source project website as the desktop website now uses the "Tizen OS" wordmark written in Samsung Sharp Sans font.

In 2021, Samsung unveiled the Powered by Tizen branding as it is being used on smart TVs made by other TV manufacturers after the announcements that Samsung started to license its Tizen TV platform to other TV manufacturers such as Loewe, Akai, RCA, Bauhn and Linsar.
This was also used by Samsung for 2023 TV models until it was replaced by Samsung Tizen OS branding.
The Samsung Tizen OS branding and logo was unveiled in 2024 alongside its latest model of its TV lineup for that year, as well as in smart home appliances.
A variation of this logo for non-Samsung TVs was also introduced in 2025, replacing the previous Powered by Tizen logo and it's now branded as Tizen OS Powered by Samsung.
Alternate logo used on TVs made by other manufacturers.
