Launched:  September 17, 2006

Red TV was launched as TV Avala on September 17, 2006, as one of the two new private channels that, together with three existing ones, gained a national frequency that year (the other being Fox, that had its first broadcasts three weeks afterwards). Avala inherited the frequencies previously used by 3K, that were, after the latter's shutdown, replaced by a temporary feed of RTS 1 earlier in May.

A variant of the logo has been in use since 2019 for an unrelated, yet eponymous YouTube channel that is mainly focused on interviews.

This short-lived logo was launched on October 17, 2011. Two months later, on December 22, the channel would go on a strike, because of unpaid salaries, through reducing broadcasts to just movies, TV series and advertisements, which ended on February 22 the following year.
