OCN is a South Korean pay-tv movie channel owned by CJ ENM. It airs Hollywood films and imported American TV series.
DCN
1995–1999
The channel launched in March 1st, 1995 as 'Daewoo Cinema Network' or DCN. At launch, it was owned by Daewoo Electronics which operated the channel until 1999 due to financial issues.
OCN
1999–2001
In 1999, DCN was bought by Tongyang Group (now Orion), which later established its new network, the Orion Cinema Network, later known simply as OCN.
2001–2020
Under OnMedia, OCN rebranded itself in 2001, positioning itself as a Hollywood blockbuster movie channel. When the channel was sold to CJ Media in 2009, the abbreviations of OCN was changed to 'Original Contents Network', where it had also produced its own original series for the network.
2020–present
The logo was updated in 2020, The curvature of each alphabet corner has been changed.
