Owing to new regulations restricting broadcast companies to owning just one AM station (MBC until then controlled three - DZRH, DZMB, and DWIZ, the latter of which would later be sold to Aliw Broadcasting in 1991), DZMB converted its operations to the FM band at 90.7 MHz on February 14, 1975, initially adopting an easy listening format, much like its eventual sister station 96.3 Easy Rock.

In 1994, the station began to adopt the now iconic Love Radio branding.

Love Radio 90.7 was the only FM station of MBC in Manila until 1995, when its parent acquired DWKS (Kiss FM 101.1), which then became Showbiz Tsismis (DWST), and thereafter, Yes! FM (DWYS) in 1998.

In 2000, the station began veering into a mass-based format following the success of the format on Yes! FM.

In 2008, MBC reallocated DZMB to its original licensee, Cebu Broadcasting Company, following MBC's acquisition of DWRK 96.3 (then known as WRocK, and then Easy Rock) that year.
