In July 1992, the blue pestle symbol was added, alongside a new slogan. Many locations still have this logo.
2005–2020
The logo proportions were updated in 2005, allowing for taller letters within the same total square footage for exterior wall signs. The "W" was updated so the peak height of each piece varies slightly.
While Walgreens was rebranded in 2020, this logo is still used in some instances outside of the United States.

In 2020, the wordmark was refined, darkening the red color and joining the "g" and "r" to form a single cursive word.
