Tele2 is one of two multinational telecommunications companies headquartered in Sweden, along with Telia Company (formerly TeliaSonera). It operates in its home country of Sweden and the three Baltic countries. Moreover, the Tele2 brand operates in Russia and Kazakhstan and previously in Croatia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Austria; these operations were sold by Tele2 in the 2010s.
