This logo includes a symbol depicting a smiling face, made from the initials T, U and I. The logo debuted in November 2001 for Preussag, who started using this logo when they changed their name to TUI AG in June 2002. The companies that it owned were also given this look, their names being next to the symbol in the same font.[1][2] A commonly-used variant had "World of" on the other side of the smile symbol.
2017–present
The typeface in the "TUI" wordmark was changed in 2017, coinciding with the rebrand of most of the company's divisions under the TUI name.
