KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (Dutch: Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij) is the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands and the oldest existing airline in the world, founded on 7 October 1919. KLM entered into a joint venture with Air France in 2004 and joined the SkyTeam alliance that year.
