AirAsia is a Malaysian low-cost airline mainly operated in the Southeast Asia region. Aside from its home country, where it is the largest airline (ahead of flag carrier Malaysia Airlines and Indonesia's Batik Air Malaysia), it has subsidiaries in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and formerly Japan and India (majority-owned by the Tata Group).
The wordmark was placed in a circle around 2012. Despite the 2020 rebranding effort for its digital service (now known as AirAsia MOVE), this logo is still being used for the airline's livery and marketing.
