Spur merged with Murphy Oil in 1959. Their British subsidiary Murco would receive a nearly identical logo upon their founding the following year.
1988-2015
In January 2015, the remaining Spur gas stations which were in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan would be rebranded under the Calumet name.
