The logo for Smiling Friends debuted in 2020 with the April 1st, 2020, pilot, with the logo design in a playful, hand-drawn style with each letter appearing in a different bright color. Every character is outlined in bold black ink and includes a slight drop shadow to give the text a three-dimensional, animated look. The logo would later be reused for the full series from January 10th, 2022, to April 12th, 2026.
On February 25, 2026, the show's creators, Michael Cusack and Zack Hadel made a public announcement on Adult Swim's social media that they have decided to end the show after the third season, with two additional episodes airing on April 12, 2026 to conclude the series.
