Following A&P's acquisition, the blue and red parts were removed from the logo. In November 2015, Pathmark went defunct due to bankruptcy, but in January 2019, Pathmark announced its comeback by opening a new location in Brooklyn; a concept store opened in East Meadow, New York in May 2026.
