Fruit Computers is an American consumer electronics and software technology company in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and Grand Theft Auto V. It is a parody of Apple.
1984–2009
Wordmark variant
The company's logo is a fruit bowl with an orange, an apple, and a banana inside it, sometimes accompanied by a wordmark on promotional material. Early in the company's life, the logo had bright colors, mirroring Apple's rainbow logo from the 20th century.
2009–present
Grey variant
In 2009, the pastel colors were dropped in favor of a monochromatic design, with the shape of the logo also being slightly adjusted, again mirroring Apple and its redesign in 1998.
