1980–1998

Brøderbund was founded in 1980. Its logo featured three crowns with crosses on top.

1989–1998

In 1989, the current font of the logo was introduced with the icon remaining unchanged. It was used in tandem with the previous one until The Learning Company's acquisition in 1998.

1998–2000

When The Learning Company completed the acquisition of Brøderbund in 1998, the logo was changed to a hand-drawn crown with the same wordmark from the previous logo.
