Showcase Movies debuted on September 15, 2021, strategically positioned to succeed FOX Movies ahead of its closure on October 1, 2021. Upon the latter’s exit, Showcase Movies immediately assumed the vacated channel space.
Showcase
2023–2024
On September 4, 2023, Showcase Movies merged with PRIMEtime. To reflect its expanded lineup of series and game shows—which had been integrated earlier—the channel officially dropped "Movies" from its name on the same day to become simply Showcase.
