3Tera, Inc. was a cloud computing company founded in 2004 that played a key role in the early development of cloud computing infrastructure. The company is best known for creating AppLogic, one of the first cloud operating systems designed to deploy and manage applications across virtual servers.
2004–2015
In 2010, 3Tera was acquired by CA Technologies, and its branding was eventually phased out as AppLogic was integrated into CA's suite of products leading CA Technologies announced the end-of-life for AppLogic, marking the retirement of the 3Tera brand and its logo in the next few year.
